The Ranch invites you to experience our one hour trial rides; suitable for any level of rider over the age of 10.  This ideal family outing is at a walk-jog pace for everyone’s safety, and our friendly guides and beloved horses offer an entirely new perspective on the lovely tree-lined fields and forests that surround our farm in Oakville, Ontario.

Price:
Rides are $38.00 per rider including tax and the use of a helmet (mandatory for children and recommended for adults).

Ride Times:
From May through October we are open 7 days a week, and rides leave the barn at 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 5pm and 7pm daily.  The rest of the year, we are open weekends with rides leaving the barn at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and later as daylight permits.

Reservations:
Riders will need a reservation in order to ride with us, and most reservations will require a visa number to secure their booking.
It is best to give us a day or two notice, but we can often fit riders in on the same day – simply call us at 905-469-2989 to book your ride!

What You’ll Need:

• Please arrive at the barn a ½ hour before your ride to sign in and participate in a riding demonstration.  Children under the age of 18 will need a parent or legal guardian to sign them in.

• Footwear that completely covers your foot – a boot with a small heel is ideal, but running shoes are acceptable.  Flip flops and sandals are not permitted.  All of our saddles have covered stirrups, so riding footwear, while preferable, is not mandatory.

• Long pants (preferably jeans), and whatever other clothing is comfortable for the weather.  Winter riders please note that wind-chills can be higher at the farm, so dress warmly!

• Sun screen or bug spray depending on the time of year and time of day.
