Trail Rides at the Ranch are available to anyone over the age of 10, and of any skill level — and we are able to accommodate up to 15 riders at a time!

Our one hour rides are the perfect starter for a novice or first time rider and are walk jog only. One hour rides are also our most frequently scheduled, 7 days a week.

If you are looking for a longer ride, or one geared towards more experienced riders, you may be interested in the specialty rides outlined below. We do not recommend these rides for most children or less confident beginner riders.

If you have a group of 10 or more, you may book a specialty ride according to your schedule, and we will pace the ride based on the riding ability of your group. You may select from the rides outlined below, or you can speak with our staff about tailoring a ride to better fit your needs. If you do not have a group of 10 or more but would like to do an advanced ride, you can join us on fine Friday evenings, throughout the summer.

We have hosted corporate and other large groups of up to 200 people, so if you're looking for a really unique way to host anything from a sales meeting to a Christmas party — give us a call!

Hourly Trail Ride
The Ranch's hourly trail rides leave the barnat 1, 3, 5 and 7pm on weekdays from May-September. and we offer rides year round on Saturdays and Sundays at 9, 11, 1, 3, 5 and 7pm. They are geared towards the beginner or novice rider, and are walk-jog rides only. This scenic trail takes you through our farm's back acreage — tree-lined rolling fields and forest. Minimum 2 people – $30.00

Twilight Ride
One of our most popular group rides, particularly for corporate functions, this ride usually departs two hours before dark (7-9pm during the summer months)and rides through some of the most spectacular trails in southern Ontario. The 16 Mile Creek Valley gives riders the rare chance to ride through the escarpment and the 16 Mile Creek. A blazing campfire and BBQ dinner round off a perfect evening upon returning to The Ranch. Includes food & campfire, minimum 10 people – $65.00

Breakfast Ride
A perfect ride for early risers — this ride starts at 8:00am and showcases the 16 Mile Creek Valley at it's most pristine. After a two hour ride full of early morning wildlife, rising mists and bird calls, riders return to a full breakfast of pancakes, home fries, eggs, bacon, sausages, toast, juice and coffee. A truly decadent way to start your day. Includes two hour ride & full breakfast, minimum
10 people –- $65.00

Overnight Ride
The full outdoor experience! Riders leave The Ranch two hours before sun-down and ride through the 16 Mile Creek Valley. Upon returning to their campsite at The Ranch, rider's bed down their horses, pitch their tents and then gather round the campfire for an evening "cowboy" meal. In the morning riders get juice and coffee and mount up for another awesome 2 hour ride. Upon returning home there is a full breakfast ready in the Ranch House. This is a great experience for any group from Girl Guides to Grannies! Includes 4 hours of riding, campfire, evening meal & full breakfast, minimum 10 people – $140.00
